License Terms

Grant

A Membership grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Tapiros Music recordings as background music at the number of physical Locations stated on the plan, and to download MP3 and WAV files for that purpose, during the Membership term, including recordings added to the library during the term.

Locations

One physical property is one Location, regardless of how many rooms or areas play music. Separate addresses are separate Locations.

Exclusions

The License excludes resale of any kind (bundling, splitting, editing or derivative works for sale) and use of the music as the main content of a product or activity: advertising, video scores, YouTube, promotional films, courses, games, apps, podcasts, events where music is the product, and buy-outs. These require custom commercial licensing.

Buy-outs

If a recording is bought out by another client during your term, it remains available to you until your term ends. On renewal it moves to your archive and is no longer playable or downloadable.

Term and termination

The License runs for one year from activation and ends automatically. We may revoke a License for breach.
