Who the standard plans are for. Cafés, restaurants, yoga and fitness studios, spas, boutique hotels, small guesthouses, small retail and small chains. Larger venues use the enterprise route.
Standard plans are for small and medium businesses
The three standard plans are for SMBs such as cafés, gyms, restaurants, bookstores, yoga studios, boutique hotels and guesthouses. If one owner can decide to buy, it is an SMB. Large shopping malls, large hotels, large libraries, airports, campuses and any venue that needs a procurement or multi-department approval process are enterprise customers and should talk to us. What counts as a location
One physical property is one location. Three convenience stores at three addresses are three locations. A boutique hotel on one property counts as one location even if the music plays in the lobby, the restaurant and the gym.
Refunds
We sell a commercial license, not a music file. During the license term you can play and download every track in the library, and digital content can be copied. That is why previews are free before you buy, and why we do not offer refunds or partial refunds after purchase for any reason.
Scope of the license
The membership licenses playback of library music as background music at your licensed locations. It does not include resale of any kind (bundling, splitting, re-editing or derivative works for sale), and it does not include using the music as the main content of a product or activity, such as videos, courses, event music, advertising, games, apps or podcasts. Those need custom commercial licensing.

What the license covers
Background music
Playing our music as background music in your space: hotel lobbies, cafés, restaurants, shops, spas, gyms, studios, offices, waiting areas.
Not covered — custom commercial licensing
Music used as part of a commercial product or activity needs a separate agreement: advertising, video scores, YouTube, promotional films, courses and teaching, games, apps, podcasts, remixes and derivative works, music built into products, and buy-outs.

If a track is bought out by a client during your term, you keep access until your term ends. On renewal it moves to your archive and is no longer playable or downloadable. Users who join after the buy-out never see it.
License Terms
A Membership grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Tapiros Music recordings as background music at the number of physical Locations stated on the plan, and to download MP3 and WAV files for that purpose, during the Membership term, including recordings added to the library during the term. Recordings bought out by another client during the term remain available until the term ends. The License excludes use as part of a commercial product or activity.
